My name is Jim and I am the owner/operator of J Greenland Pet Sitting. I am a retiree after a long, rewarding and diversified law enforcement career. J Greenland Pet Sitting (JGPS) is a product of years of informal pet care along with 4 years professional pet service experience, and having a passion for caring for animals.

I’m Here for You!
I am here to provide pet sitting services in your home where your pets are most comfortable. I can do daily visits, multiple per day visits, or occasional visits. All in home visits include feeding, watering your pets, potty breaks, and (if requested) bringing in mail and newspapers, opening and closing blinds or curtains, turning lights on or off, watering plants, and setting out trash cans. We are happy to text/email you at every visit or as you wish. Days/Hours for visits are typically Monday – Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
House sitting and farm sitting services are also available. Discounts are available for multiple day or multiple service requests.

What I Do…
Mid-Day Service
Monday – Friday. While you are at work, etc. we can visit and comfort your pets, and let out your dog for a potty break. This service is usually provided between 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. Every effort will be made to show up within 30 minutes of the requested time of visit
Cat Sitting
While you are at work, on a trip, etc. we can visit and comfort your cat(s). This service is provided Monday–Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Visits include: feeding, changing water and litter clean up.
Occasional Pet Visits
JGPS will conduct occasional pet sitting per the request of the pet owner Monday – Sunday between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. [every effort will be made to show up within 30 minutes of the requested time of visit].
House Check - No Pets
We offer this service for the same rates as our pet sitting services — based on how long we are at your home. We will bring in mail, open/close blinds & curtains, turn lights on and off, water plants inside or outside, set out trash, check for break-ins, water leaks, etc. Your home will have a lived in appearance, which may be a crime deterrent.
Dog Walking
Dog walking provides your dog an opportunity to get exercise, personal attention, and play while you are at work or busy with other obligations. JGPS will tailor a dog-walking program that is customized to meet your dog’s specific exercise needs. Available 7 days a week from 7 a.m. –10 p.m. and can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed basis.
Attendant Service
We’ll wait for the cable person, furniture delivery person, or plumber, etc. so you don’t have to.

Mess Clean-Up
There is no charge for basic and quick cleanup of ordinary messes that can be dealt with in the amount of time you scheduled us to be in your home. We rely on you to provide any cleaning supplies that you would like us to use. We do not guarantee stain removal.

$20 round trip w/in ten miles of home, $1 per additional mile.
Delivery
Pet food & supply delivery $20 round trip w/ in ten miles of home, $1 per additional mile.
Hotel Pet Sitting
We offer in-room pet sitting services at your hotel. This is a great service for those who are relocating, here temporarily or in on business. This service includes feedings, walks, and potty breaks.
